Steps for GST Registration (Existing Taxpayers)

Step 1: Enter Provisional ID and Password provided by respective State VAT/Central Excise/Service Tax department on www.gst.gov.in

Step 2: Mobile Number and Email Address should be provided.

Step 3: One Time Password (OTP) will be received in your mobile number and e-mail address provided by you.

Step 4: Change your User ID and Password provided by the department after first log in.

Step 5: Fill “Form GST REG-20″

Step 6: Upload all the documents as given on http://gtmkothari6.wixsite.com/taxsagar/single-post/2016/11/25/Documents-required-for-GST-Registration

Step 7: After completing above, electronic signature shall be required (DSC). i.e. DSC shall be require to get register on the website.

Step 8: Persons who can digitally sign their documents is referred in http://gtmkothari6.wixsite.com/taxsagar/single-post/2016/11/25/Authorised-Signatory-to-sign-the-application-for-GST-Registration

Step 9: An acknowledgment shall be generated.

Step 10: Against this registration, a Provisional Registration Certificate shall be issued in “Form GST REG-21″
